My plan for tomorrow, with regard to writing, is to print the manuscript, pass it on to Katie for her to proofread, and to start working on query letters.

Oh, So Close
I have a suggestion for all of you writers who have not already given this a try. Write a manuscript, spend an unnecessarily long time proofreading it and polishing it, then when you have everything pretty well worked out, do a search for the words "and", "as", and "just".
Two items remain on my checklist. One is a basic grammar thing which I am still too lazy to resolve. The other involves a structural/style thing akin to the format one chooses for chapter titles. If I don't put these issues to bed this evening, I shall certainly put them to bed tomorrow evening.

Pronouns
Most of this evening's working time was spent replacing a proper name with a pronoun.

Poem, Etc.
I have been busy. That's not completely true, but let us pretend. I have been busy. So this is what remains: I have to lock down the poem, I have to check for potentially excessive use of some words and names, I have one outstanding issue regarding grammar, and I have to decide how I'm going to deal with a few stylistic/structural things. Tomorrow evening, I will work on the poem. I don't know how long I want or need to spend on that, but I hope it won't be long. To resolve the rest should take me one evening.
